First Communion

Children in 2nd grade will prepare to receive the sacraments of First Reconciliation (Also known as Confession, or Penance), and First Holy Communion. 

There will be a parent meeting in October which will outline the details for the year. First Reconciliation will take place at the beginning of Lent. A Family Retreat will be held in the spring. First Communion will take place after Easter.

Families registered for faith formation at St. Aidan, and St. Aidan parishioners at Blessed Seelos Academy will be contacted automatically regarding the parent meeting. St. Aidan parishioners who attend other Catholic schools or formation programs, and families who are not parishioners but would like to receive sacraments here, please contact Paula Green ([email protected]) by the end of September.

If you wish for your child to make their sacraments at St. Aidan Parish, please let us know by emailing Paula Green ([email protected]) and please have your pastor send a letter of permission to us.
