ASCEND is the Youth and Young Adult ministry
at Saint Aidan Parish. 

ASCEND is made up of Middle School, High School, and Young Adults (18-35) ministries. No matter where you are in life, God is seeking you. He has revealed himself as Father and sent his Son for you, that you may have life, peace, joy, and love in abundance. Join us as together we journey onward and upward into the love of God.

ASCEND Middle School (7th - 8th grade) meets first and third Sundays of the school year beginning September 15, 2019 for EDGE. EDGE is our middle school program where we dive into our faith with games, skits, talks, and worship, all in an environment that builds community and friendships.
In addition to serving as our Middle School Youth Group, EDGE fulfills the required two years for those seeking the Sacrament of Confirmation. If your teen is seeking the Sacrament of Confirmation, please register them with Faith Formation.
When:  First and Third Sundays, 6:30 p.m.-8:30 p.m. beginning September 15.
Where: Friendship Hall at Saint Alexis (Cafeteria around the backside of the school building.)  All other meetings in Father Rodgers Hall (old Saint Alexis Church)

ASCEND High School (9th - 12th grade) meets second, fourth, and fifth Sundays of the school year beginning September 22, 2019 for Life Teen's "Life Night". Life Night is our main high school program where we tackle life's biggest questions, build relationships with Jesus, bring God into our culture, and build rock solid community. We also goof off a bit, too.
When:  Second, Fourth and Fifth Sundays, 6:30 p.m.-8:30 p.m. beginning September 29.
 
Where: Youth Room at St. Alexis (the corner room of the school building closest to the old church)

ASCEND Young Adults (18-35) hosts a monthly evening of Tacos and Theology. If you like meeting good people, eating tacos, outdoor games like corn hole and can jam, and captivating talks about being Catholic, then grab a friend or a few and get out to Tacos and Theology.  

This event is free and for ages 18-35.
When: First Thursday of the month, 6:30 p.m.-8:30 p.m.
Where: Youth Room at Saint Alexis. The Youth Room is the corner room of the school building closest to the old church.
